Adjara is a peaceful thirty-year-old woman who was born in Datta and always lived there. As a child, she dreamed of owning a large loincloth shop, but the harsh realities of everyday life soon brought her back to earth. Out of school, she began to fend for herself in life by extracting palm oil. She then became interested in agriculture by creating a half hectare field of rice.
She is seeking the support of supporters to expand her rice field and also grow cassava.
Although Adjara did not benefit from this opportunity, she made it a point of honour to send all four of her children to school. "I want them all to become great intellectuals" she says, and for that she intends to invest the income from the project in a palm seed shop to have the means to "support the children so that they go as far as possible”.
