Alice is a 40-year-old girl born in Djidji in the sub-prefecture of Lakota to a culturally rooted family. She fell seriously sick as a child and had to stop school at the first cycle. As a teenager, she became a traditional dancer like her mother and took part in all the village festivals. Alice then married and discovered farming thanks to her husband.
Today, with 8 dependent children, she grows a plot of chilli pepper in addition to being a housekeeper. But these activities are not enough to cover the needs of her family. Alice is now thinking of expanding her crop by 1/2 hectare.
With this income, she hopes to be able to support her husband and gain financial independence. So it seeks the help of supporters to develop.
